Unified School District (233) Mail Ballot Election - March 1, 2022

Shall the following be adopted?

Shall Unified School District No. 233, Johnson County, Kansas (Olathe), issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $298,300,000, to purchase and improve sites and acquire, construct, equip, furnish, repair, remodel and make additions to buildings used for school district purposes, including acquisition of new and upgraded computer and communications technology, and all necessary improvements related thereto in the District, and to pay related fees and expenses; all pursuant to the provisions of K.S.A. 10-101 et seq.; K.S.A. 25-431 et seq.; K.S.A. 25-2018(f); K.S.A. 72-5457; and K.S.A. 75-5458 et seq.?

Ballot Drop Box Location & Information

The ballot drop box at the Johnson County Election Office (2101 E. Kansas City Road, Olathe) will open when ballots mail on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 and close at noon on Election Day, Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
 

Important Dates

January 31 - Last day to register to vote and automatically receive a ballot
February 8 - Last day to register to vote and apply for a ballot
February 9 - Ballots begin mailing to voters
February 25 - Last day to mail replacement ballots (replacement ballots may be requested in person until noon on March 1)
March 1 - Election Day - Ballots must be received by noon
March 8 - Canvass Begins at 9:00 a.m.
