Ballot Question - April 2003 
Shall the following be adopted? "Shall the City of Overland Park, Kansas, be authorized to levy a one-eighth of one percent (.125%) City Retailers' Sales Tax within the City of Overland Park, Kansas, and to use the revenue from the new tax to continue to fund a residential street improvement program and a thoroughfare street improvement program, with each program to receive as nearly as possible one-half of the new tax revenue, such new tax to take effect on April 1, 2004, the day following expiration of the existing one-eighth of one percent (.125%) City Retailers' Sales Tax; such new tax to end March 31, 2009; and such new tax to be in addition to the ongoing one percent (1.0%) City Retailers' Sales Tax currently levied?"
