Ballot Question - April 1997

Shall the following be adopted?

Shall the city of Mission, Kansas issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $3,400,000 to pay a portion of the costs of the construction and equipping the "Sylvester Powell, Jr. Community Center" and all things related to and necessary to such construction and equipping; with the balance of such costs to be paid from available funds of the City in the amount of $3,400,000, all pursuant to the provisions of K.S.A. 12-1736 to 12-1738 and K.S. A. 10-101 et seq.?
