Mail Ballot Election - September 18, 2007 
PROPOSITION NO. 1
Shall the following be adopted?
Shall Unified School District No. 232 (De Soto), Johnson County, Kansas, issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $51,000,000 for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, equipping, furnishing, repairing, remodeling or making additions to buildings used for school district purposes including without limitation (a) constructing, furnishing and equipping additions to existing school facilities, (b) furnishing, equipping and improving existing school facilities, (c) providing new and upgraded computer and communication technology, (d) acquiring sites for school facilities, (e) providing all necessary and related improvements and (f) paying fees and expenses incidental thereto including interest during construction, all pursuant to the provisions of K.S.A. 10-101 et seq., K.S.A. 25-2018(f), K.S.A. 75-2315 et seq. and K.S.A. 72-6761?
PROPOSITION NO. 2
Shall the following be adopted?
Shall Unified School District No. 232 (De Soto), Johnson County, Kansas, issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $19,500,000 for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, equipping, furnishing, repairing, remodeling or making additions to buildings used for school district purposes including without limitation (a) constructing, furnishing and equipping performing arts theaters at both of the high schools, (b) installing artificial turf at the competition fields at both of the high schools and (c) paying fees and expenses incidental thereto including interest during construction, all pursuant to the provisions of K.S.A. 10-101 et seq., K.S.A. 25-2018(f), K.S.A. 75-2315 et seq. and K.S.A. 72-6761? The Board of Education will not issue the general obligation bonds described in this proposition unless the general obligation bonds described in Proposition No. 1 are also approved by the voters.
