How to Register to Vote in Johnson County

To register to vote or to change your registration, you can complete the attached application. Applications that can be mailed to the Election Office at 2101 E. Kansas City Road in Olathe, Kansas 66061 or faxed to 913-791-8934.
To register and be eligible to vote, you must be a United States citizen, a resident of the State of Kansas, and at least 18 years old on or before the next election day. You must include your Kansas driver's license number or the last four digits of your Social Security number on the application.
You may register to vote at any time. However, voter registration always closes 21 days prior to an Election Day. Registration forms must be postmarked no later than the 21st day before an election in order to be eligible to vote.
Anytime you change your name or address, or wish to change your party affiliation, you must complete a new voter registration applicaton to update your records.
