Shawnee City Officials
Shawnee, a city of First Class, has four wards. Elections have been held in even numbered, but will be held in odd years beginning in 2013. Shawnee is served by a Mayor and 8 Council Members, two from
each ward. All are elected to 4 year terms.
- Four Council Members will be elected in 2010. (for 3 year terms)
- Mayor and four Council Members will be elected in 2012. (for 3 year terms)
- Terms of office begin with and include the first regular meeting of the governing body following certification of the election.
