Leawood

Leawood, a city of the First Class, has four wards. An election is held in even numbered years. Leawood is served by a Mayor and eight Council Members, two from each ward. All are elected to four year terms. Four Council Members will be elected in 2008. The Mayor and four Council Members will be elected in 2010.

Mission

Mission, a city of the Second Class, has four wards. An election is held in even numbered years. Mission is served by a Mayor and eight Council Members, two from each ward. All are elected to four year terms. Four Council Members will be elected in 2008. The Mayor and four Council Members will be elected in 2010.

Prairie Village

Prairie Village, a city of the First Class, has six wards. An election is held in most odd and even numbered years. Prairie Village is served by a Mayor and twelve Council Members, two from each ward. All are elected to four year terms. Six Council Members will be elected in 2008. Six Council Members will be elected in 2010. The Mayor will be elected in 2011.

The Mayor and two Council Members At-Large will be elected in 2008. Three Council Members At-Large will be elected in 2010.
